Biography
Charles Martin Mhone is the Managing Partner of Maxson Arnold & Associates, a law firm in Malawi. He specializes in International Arbitration, Corporate Law and Commercial Law and his experience as Counsel extends to over 8 years. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malawi and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in International Corporate and Commercial Law with King’s College London, where he has studied International Commercial Arbitration among others. He has also just completed Module 1 (Law, Practice and Procedure of International Arbitration) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He is the Malawian Ambassador of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Young Members Group (CIArb YMG). Apart from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he is also member of other international arbitration associations, namely, the African Arbitration Association (AfAA) where he is an active steering committee member of the Young Members Committee (AfAA YMC), the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA) Africa.
