I have participated in several maritime arbitration at the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris (CAMP) while a member of the Paris Bar.
I have also assisted the Senegalese National Shipping Company (COSENAM) in a London based ad hoc maritime arbitration case which was finally settled.
I have participated as Legal Expert in an ICC arbitration in Paris in relation to an offshore oil & gas related dispute.
I have been recently appointed for a 4 years term as a Member of the Users Council of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC)

Biography
Aboubacar FALL is a member of the Senegal Bar and a former member of the Paris Bar. He is a co-founder and senior partner of AF Legal , a full commercial service law firm.
He holds a Masters in International Transportation from University of Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), a PhD in International Business from University of Rouen Haute-Normandy (France) and an LL.M from University of Washington in Seattle ( USA).
For over ten (10) years Dr FALL has worked as Principal Legal Counsel for the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group . He also has served for three (3) years as Chairperson of the Management Board of the African Legal Support facility (ALSF).
Dr FALL is Representative of ICC FraudNet in Senegal . In 2015 & 2016, he was nominated as one of the 100 most influential people in Africa by the magazine Financial Afrik. In 2017 & 2018, he was ranked as Asset Recovery Expert in the Who’s Who Legal. In 2018, he was nominated among the 18 most active law firms’ managers in Africa, by the magazine Financial Afrik.
Dr Fall is the President of the Senegal Maritime law association as well as a Titulary Member of the Comité Maritime International (CMI). He spoke at the International Congress of Maritime Arbitrators (ICMA) in Paris where he presented a paper on : Lex Mercatoria nad International Maritime Arbitration : The Case Study of Voyage Charter Party.

In December 2017, I participated in the African International Law Association (AILA) international Conference in Lagos on the topic “Rethinking Investment Arbitration for Africa”.
In January 2019, I delivered a presentation on “International Commercial Arbitration at the International in Oil & Gas Disputes” at the International Colloquium co-organized by the Ministry of Justice and the Senegalese branch of EITI in Dakar (Senegal).
In February 2020, I published an article in the Financial Afrik on the topic of “ l’Afrique et l’arbitrage international”
