Biography
Anne-Sophie is a Barrister practising at the Mauritius and the English Bar and a non-practising Barrister at the Paris Bar. She has been working as arbitration Counsel for 23 years, initially in London in the Dispute Resolution Department of Weil Gotshal and Skadden Arps, and for the past 15 years, in Mauritius. She also acts as an Arbitrator. Her appointments to date have been in respect of ICC, MIAC and MARC arbitrations. She handles both civil law and common law arbitrations in French and English. Anne-Sophie also appears as advocate before the Mauritius Courts and the Privy Council in litigation matters (arbitration-related applications, commercial disputes, public law and environmental law disputes). Anne-Sophie has recently been appointed on the Constitutional Review Commission of Mauritius, a commission responsible to make recommendations to Government on reforming the Mauritius Constitution.
